Site Selection and Preparation

Ensure there is sufficient operation space in front for maintenance. The installation surface should be firm, level, and capable of supporting the box without deflection or shaking.

Foundation and Mounting

Wire Preparation: Strip insulation to leave an appropriate length of exposed conductor. Circuit Breakers: Install independent breakers according to load requirements. Termination: Connect line to line, neutral to neutral, and ground to ground, following color coding standards.

Ensure all connections are tight and secure. Grounding: Connect the box door and metal parts to a grounding system using soft copper braided wire and proper terminals. Wiring Layout: Route wires neatly, secure with cable ties, and leave space for heat dissipation.

Testing and Labeling

After wiring, perform an insulation resistance test to verify proper insulation between conductors and the box. Label each circuit clearly for future maintenance and troubleshooting. Ensure all protective devices, such as fuses, breakers, and surge protectors, are correctly rated and installed.

Maintenance and Safety

Regularly inspect the distribution box for overheating, loose terminals, condensation, or animal intrusion. Clean the cabinet and check the condition of switches, contactors, and wiring. For high-humidity areas, consider using moisture repellents or dryers.
